REDEEMED BY THE BLOOD

“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace” Ephesians 1:7

There is only one truth that every Christian and the world needs to know, that God is love. He only has redeemed us from the sins of the world and that because we have him, no powers can hold us bound. He had made a show of principalities in the cross of Calvary and that while we were yet sinners, he died for us. That in him, by him and through him every life that is dead receives life.

Why then do we believe that the covenants made by our forefathers are holding us bound if we believe the redemption of Christ? Has Christ not died for us? Did the scripture not promise us that the covenant of Scheol shall be broken by the blood. Also, did the scripture not say that we overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the words of our testimonies?

Our minds have been corrupted by teachings that have entered the body, making the power of the blood of the lamb non-effective. Causing us all to err and grope in darkness. The teachings have caused our faith in Christ to waiver; magnifying the powers of darkness than that of the Gospel of salvation through the blood of the Lamb. Christians do not want to talk to people anymore because they are witches. Is there anywhere in the Bible where Jesus says we should abandon the witch and wizards?

Against such teachings did Paul and Peter warn us. That we should be aware of seducing spirits (1 Timothy 4:1). In Galatians 5:1, Paul cautioned Galatians saying “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery”.

The Commission of our Lord Jesus is simple: “And proclaim as you go, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay”. (Mathew 10:7-8 ESV)

Brethren, we should seek the Lord with all diligence and he will give us understanding. The spirit of God is pure and brings life. It does not condemn. The spirit of God is of sound mind, wisdom, courage, long suffering, humility and patience. Anything contrary to this is not of God.
