‘‘David fought them from dusk until the evening of the next day, and none of them got away, except four hundred young men who rode off on camels and fled. David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken, including his two wives.’’ 1 Samuel 30: 17-18
Life is full of events, and in every event, there are those that benefit and those who lose, and in most cases the losers are the minority group in large numbers.
From the womb to the tomb, there are always forces fighting, waring, battling, and attacking children of God. You must be on your guard to confront and take dominion. This is so because if you don’t, the devil will enslave you through either sin, sickness, pain, affliction, poverty etc.
WEAPONS FOR UNCOMMON SPEED?
1. The name of Jesus: The name of Jesus works unimaginable wonders of victory for us. Being conscious of the power in the name of Jesus is enough to secure us the victory we expect. (Philippians 2:9-11)
2. The blood of Jesus: The blood of Jesus is another powerful tool to fight the devil and recover. Pleading the blood of Jesus in time of trouble summons unmatched power for victor. Rev. 12: 11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
3. Prayer and Fasting: If you want to win the war of life fight with prayer and fasting. The lack of prayer is the reason why Christians loose battles. (Acts 25:7)
4. The word of God: (Acts 12:24, Joshua 1:8) Always confess the word positively it can grow and multiply.
5. Wise counselling: Proverbs 24:6 says ‘‘For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, and in a multitude of counselors there is safety.’’ You can only win when you listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
6. Giving: (Acts 10:4) When you are a habitual giver you make heaven to constantly watch over your affairs and give you victory.
7. Common sense: Proverbs 2:11 says ‘‘Direction will preserve you; understanding will keep you.’’ God is interested in every little battle you fight but that does not mean he has to fight them all for you.
I pray the Lord gives us all divine grace to pursue, overtake and recover all lost opportunities without fail
