“And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him” Mark 11:4

Brethren and Sisters,

The colt mentioned in our reference verse is the same that Zechariah prophesied about in Zechariah 9:9: “(…) Behold the King cometh …. riding upon a colt the foal of an ass.”

This is a colt that was promised to the bright destiny of carrying Jesus and, by that same virtue, receive part of the glory that would be bestowed onto Jesus. After all, the King’s colt is colts’ king, isn’t it? But despite that prophecy which foreshadowed an honorable life to it, this colt was tied outside and surprisingly in a place where two ways met. That means it was surrounded by opportunities but was not free to enjoy them and there was nobody to untie it and put it on the way to the fulfilment of its enviable destiny. It finally took Jesus to subtract this unfortunate colt from that prison and introduce it into its ordained glory. Once untied, we saw in Mark 11:7-8 that some people cast their garments on the colt while others cast theirs on the ground for it to walk on.

Loved ones, maybe you have a prophecy that you will achieve great things in life and despite that, there is no sign of fulfilment. To make things worse, you are surrounded by so many opportunities but enjoying none. You have degrees but no job; you are beautiful and with a good character, but no man proposes to you; you are well mannered but no one to favor you; you work hard and have a lot of connections but no promotion; you have been in the same position for years while your performance appraisals are always far beyond expectation. Just like that colt, you are tied in the midst of opportunities and hell has consistently been cheating you. It is time to get free and start enjoying!

Please note that any prophecy you receive should become a prayer point and you should not relent in reminding God of that promise until the prophecy comes to pass. Besides, prophecy is a weapon in the spiritual warfare we are engaged in. Use it, talk to Jesus and request Him to set you free so you can enjoy your breakthrough, marry the man/girl God has ordained for you, get your dreamt job, heal from that disease, etc. God is willing to help you. Open your heart to Him.
