“And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.” Hebrew 9: 27-28
The power of choice is the blueprint of God’s love to his creation. Both celestial and earthy beings are supplied with the ability to make short- or long-lasting decisions pertained to all areas of their lives. These decisions have a far-reaching consequence as they go beyond the known pendulum of time known to mankind. While the clock is ticking, we still enjoy the unlimited ability to make life or death decisions.
Death in itself is not really final, it is an exit into another realm. It is about removing the power of choice of a human being. While you are free to decide on your course of action, you will account for the choices you have made. Whatever you have done during your life on earth will weight against or for your advantage at the judgment day. Your decision matter, choose wisely.
Jesus Christ depicts a sad reality that betroths both the weak and the strong. There is a day when regardless of your muscular mass or prime of life you may be enjoying that both the elderly and youth must come to rest. John 9: 4 “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work”.
Man seems to be trapped in time. This time is the only window available to make choices. Do not squander this precious resource in careless living at the expense of your soul. When the sun sets, the only question that will matter will be: where will you spend your eternity? Will you be in the loving and caring hands of the beloved father or will you be doomed to damnation?
Revelation 3: 20 ‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me’. Jesus is still persistently knocking at the door of your heart; will you hear him and usher him?
Make the right choice, chose Jesus Christ!
