“Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

Brethren, as Children born of the water and of the spirit, our life and that of the life of the world is not the same. For the fruit of the spirit is not the same as that born of the world. When we are rooted in the Lord, we hear his voice and we do his will. We say we are born again. Yet, we live a life that is not different from the world. The worldly principles have eaten up most Christians in this world. We lean on the power of man and act to satisfy Men than to satisfy God.

The question is: ‘who are we?’ The Bible says that we are a new creation, creatures born of the water and of the spirit, transformed to do the will and the work of God. According to the book of John, no man can claim to have the Holy Spirit and then sin. Because you have the Holy Ghost in you and God the father in you, the manifestation of the spirit is what will be seen in you. Those who are controlled by the prince of Persia are guided by the spirit of disobedience.

Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. All the things he used to do he will do them no more. There is a new he that is transformed by the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead. The new man is peaceful, kind, loving, long suffering, bearing no grudge, watching over the poor, diligent in seeking God, bearing the power of God, watchful and prayerful. This is the reason why Jesus says that we are the salt of the earth, a city that cannot be hid.

However, we must be watchful to always stay on the true vine. Because the Bible says that any branch that is not fastened on the vine will be used by men and tossed away.

Remember, the key is to be in Jesus. Our preservation from sin, demons, the work of flesh can only be realized by having the Lord Jesus, the Holy Ghost and God abiding in you. In this way, we will move and have our being. In this way we can become super humans and do things that no man has ever done. Stay in Christ and be blessed in Jesus name.
