GRACE, A SUPERNATURAL FORCE

GRACE, A SUPERNATURAL FORCE

Timothy SAM

“Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.” Hebrews 9:15

Grace is a force that attracts difference. Grace is a magnet that magnetically draws the invisible into the visible. Grace breaks us into access. Where there is no access there is no excess!

Grace came as an introduction of the replacement of the out-fashioned covenant of offering animals for the propitiation of our sin. Grace is indeed a supernatural force which is delivered freely in our dispensation. To effectively make use of grace in our lives, it is important to understand grace as:

1. Grace is a weapon: Grace is a weapon God continues to use to weaken the devil. Grace can wipe away sin, restore and bring a sinner before God boldly. This is difficult to understand, right? Given this development we are called to use this weapon of grace to fight noting in 1 Timothy 6:12 “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

2. Grace is the unfailing Word of God. God’s words are the most potent of His nature. Through His words the heavens were framed. We are therefore called to proclaim and prophesy his unfailing love and word using grace as recorded in 1 Peter 1:10, “Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you.”

3. Grace is God's everlasting water well. In John 4, Jesus offered one of the greatest privilege to a woman whose life was tainted with lies, adultery and racism. She demonstrated racism openly denying Jesus to draw from a well of her tribe. This woman at the well received a flow of water that instantly changed her status. We are all called to partake of this well that will never make us thirsty. Jesus said “whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Grace can draw you to the well of hope, peace and salvation. I invite you to draw with Joy giving your life to Jesus. Therefore, with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation (Isaiah 12:3).
