“If the God whom we serve exists, then He is able to deliver us from the blazing fiery furnace and from your hand, O king. But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden statue you have set up.” Daniel 3:17-18

People of God, what the enemy is after is our faith. That is why we continue to go through different challenges and storms as believers. The enemy wants to bring us to a point where we give up our faith and say God is not the God that He says He is. Are we going to give up or hold on?

There comes a time in a believer’s life when it seems as if God is no longer in the equation and at that point people begin to question the God that we serve.

In Mathew 27:40, they said to Jesus “If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.” Even Jesus went through this.

The enemy was after Job’s faith to the point where his wife told him to curse God and die. Seeing her husband sitting in the dust, scraping his sores silently, she burst out, “Do you still persist in your integrity? Curse God and die” (Job 2:9).

Name a man or woman of faith and I will show you how the enemy went after their faith. People of God, I don’t know what you are going through. Is it in the area of your health, career, marriage, children and/or others? Hold on ! The Bible says: “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all”. (Psalm 34:19 KJV).

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego made up their mind and took a stand in Daniel 3: 17-18: _“If the God whom we serve exists, then He is able to deliver us from the blazing fiery furnace and from your hand, O king. But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden statue you have set up.” People of God, let’s take a stand that even if He does not respond to our prayers and meet our expectations, we will not relent in our faith.

At the end, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were delivered from the burning furnace and from the hands of Nebuchadnezzar. Job’s end was glorious, and our Messiah conquered death. Stay blessed.
