“Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask. Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” John 11:21-23

People of God, the year is fast approaching an end and some of us are beginning to give up on our expectations for the year. We may have started questioning if it can happen, but this morning, I want us to take our faith to another level and know that even at this 11th hour in the 12th month of the year, God can still make it happen if only we will believe.

In John 11, Jesus had been informed of Lazarus sickness, but he did not get there on time. He reached there when Lazarus had been dead for four days and the people were mourning. From verse 32-33 “When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. “Where have you laid him?” he asked. “Come and see, Lord,” they replied. Jesus wept”.

What brought Lazarus back to life is the faith Mary and Martha had in Jesus. If we can revive our faith this day, everything is possible before the end of the year. Let your faith come alive!

How do you revive your faith?

1. Focus on Jesus (Luke 5:12-13)

2. Stand on the word of God (Romans 10:17)

3. Fast (Matthew 17:21)

4. Humility (John 11:32) Mary fell at Jesus’s feet

5. Fervent Prayers (James 5:16)

6. Always remember what the Lord has done. (1 Samuel 17:37) David remembered his past victories to defeat Goliath.

7. Be expectant (Romans 12:12)

The secret of winning is that your heart should not fail (1 Samuel 17:32)

David said to Saul, “Let no one's heart fail because of him; your servant will go and fight with this Philistine.”

My brother, my sister, I don’t know what you’ve been believing God for all these years and for the past 11 months. Is it in your health, career, finances, relationship/marriage, or family? I am here to encourage you through the word of God that “even now”, it is possible to receive it only if we can join our faith together and believe! Stay blessed.
